About Aquifer Insight

 Aquifer Insight (ABN: 98 304 472 623) was established by Dr. Junjian Wang, a hydrogeologist and groundwater modeller whose career bridges academia and environmental consulting. This dual perspective ensures that every project is built on sound theoretical principles while being grounded in practical, regulatory-focused application. Specialising in the mining and energy storages sectors, Dr. Wang provides technical oversight and develops the conceptual and groundwater models needed for environmental impact assessments, regulatory approvals, and operational compliance. By integrating hydrogeology with data science, he streamlines workflows and strengthen the reliability of impact assessments for protecting water resources and sensitive ecosystems. This expertise, honed through international projects across Australia and North America, is the core of Aquifer Insight’s mission to deliver clarity and insight on complex groundwater challenges.
